1) I’ll be getting rid of the unicorns as soon as I get home. Don’t worry. Just can’t change it from where I’m currently at.

2) Loved this picture. Especially since people always ask “How does a lobster relate to Fight Crew?” I always tell them they’re both red. Not a great answer, but it seems no one else knows any different.

Cookies are tough again this year. However, my Fight Crew almost took ‘em down. Almost. Final score 103 to 93 in favor of the Cookies. Next time.

There were a ton of game ejections too. More than I’ve seen in a long time. I think at least 4 skaters were booted. All for accumulation of penalties. Mentioned it to Busta on the way out and he pointed out that the games are now 20 minutes longer than last year. All quarters are now 15 minutes instead of 10. It’s gonna take some work on the part of the skaters to reduce the number of penalties they accumulate.

Sat up in the VIP season ticket section and it was great. Sitting right at the starting line and right behind Krissy Krash’s folks. Fun night.

Just an observation. After watching the trailer I’m having a hard time spotting a Broadie or a PITA or a Raszor Slut.

Taking in to account my previous comment regarding Hollywoods own interests, did they totally opt for all waif teams in the movie? Of course Krissy Krash isn’t a waif by any stretch of the word, but maybe you get what I mean. Seems like they went slim.

Had a day off yesterday. A real day off. Would still be nice to get two in a row, but I’ll take what I can get. Headed out to Tampa Bay for some roller derby action. Woohoo! More on that later. First thing, they had these cool derby wrist bands.

Second, this was in the free weekly or monthly or whatever rag downstairs.
